International
Sprachcafé / language exchange
Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday there’s a language exchange in MUK (Güntherstraße). Everyone’s welcome! See this page for more information or visit the facebook page.

Deutsch
- Die einfachste Anlaufstelle auf FB ist sicherlich die Gruppe “Neu in Dortmund“. Hier kann man schnell Leute für gemeinsame Treffen kennenlernen. Es gibt organisierte, wöchentliche Treffen (Stammtisch).
- Leute aus aller Welt trifft man in der Gruppe “International Get-Togethers in Dortmund“.
- Die CouchSurfer aus Dortmund diskutieren auch in der FB-Gruppe “CouchSurfing – Dortmund“.
Hospitality Exchange
- Auf BeWelcome gibt es eine Dortmund-Gruppe.
- In Dortmund gibt es eine große CouchSurfing Community mit vielen Events. Anlaufstellen sind hier das geographisch um Dortmund herum verortete “Diskussionsforum” und die klassische Gruppe “Dortmund“.

- You can find mostly expats on ToyTown Germany – see this forum entry for some Dortmund activity.
Meetup.com
- There’s a group Expatriate’s Meetup In Essen which seems to be very active. I’m signed up there but unfortunately did not make it to one of the meetings yet.
InterNations
- I did not sign up to Internations yet, but there seems to be a group Dortmund expat Community for Dortmund expats as well. If you’re a member there, don’t hesitate to tell me about your experiences!

- En Dortmund hay 2 grupos, “Español Dortmund“, este grupo se encuentre el 2. y 4. jueves, y “Tandem in Dortmund (Deutsch-Spanisch)“, este grupo se reúne cada los domingos.
