So November is really mild, and continuing the day of nice sky impressions, I took even more photos. Yesterday (November 8) I went to Oberhausen to pay OpenRheinRuhr a visit, my motto to “ignore the train driver strike” fully paid off, also when we went to the Allerheiligenkirmes in Soest in the afternoon as a group of friends.

So instead of going to Burg Altena again we decided to tour around in Dortmund. It’s hard to enumerate all the places we’ve seen today but I’ll try 😉

Dortmunder U (Deep Love Festival), Dortmunder Kunstverein, Street Art Gallery 44309, Gelateria Angelo Losego, Black Plastic Vinyl Shop, Gedenkstätte Steinwache, Dortmund-Ems-Kanal, Fredenbaumpark, Gaststätte Schmiedingslust, Westfalenstadion, beer garden Rote Erde, pub Kumpel Erich, Westfalenpark, Florianturm. Walking tour Phoenix Dortmund, Sep 6, 2014

So yesterday we did a walking tour as a couchsurfing event in Dortmund. We started by ascending Reinoldikirche tower, went by metro to Rombergpark and took a walk around the main pond. From there the next obvious stop was Phoenix West. Close to Eliasbahn viaduct we met a native guy from Hörde who took us over his favourite “goat path” to some hidden spots. Later we enjoyed Phoenixsee gastronomy and took a look at Phoenixsee while the moon was shining over the construction cranes 😉

Guided tour Rombergpark, Phoenix-West, Phoenixsee (viking boat competition), Aug 24, 2014

On Sunday I promised to give a guided tour to a couchsurfer who was visiting Dortmund. I announced the tour on the day before but in the end it’s only been the two of us, what is there to say it was stress-free that way 🙂

So most of the pictures are similar to the ones I already took but then it’s been April weather in August yesterday so at least the lightning is different. And also, if you look closely at one of the flower pics taken in Phoenix-West, you’ll find an insect I’d categorize as “cabbage white butterfly” 🙂

On Monday we’ve been with a small group of couchsurfers to Phoenix-West and were able to see the sun set behind the scenery 🙂
