Frühlingsmarkt / Pflanzenmarkt Dortmund, May 10, 2015

Yesterday I took a walk through Dortmund, there was an artists’ market and a spring market in the city centre and a plant market in Westfalenpark. 🙂 The street art is from Weißenburger Straße.

Today I went with friends to Rombergpark to see the effect of May (“Alles neu, macht der Mai” we say in German “May brings new things” or however it is to translate). There were goslings, ducklings, lots of butterflies and bumblebees 🙂

Looking for crocuses, Feb 28, 2015

So today was a day with approx. 9h of sun, at least half of which I was able to enjoy outside. My plan was to look for crocuses and what did I find next to the park of Naturkundemuseum / Kleingartenanlage Fredenbaum 🙂 In the end I was at
- Buchhandlung Litfass to pick up “Seeker”
- turkish bakery Burgholzstraße
- park of Naturkundemuseum
- Fredenbaumpark

- Exhibition “Gemischte Tüte” in Depot

Today I used the sunny weather and visited Rombergpark with a friend 🙂 The greenhouses are definitively worth a visit (€ 2,- admission). The sunset photos are taken in Dortmund main station.

I’m still sick but the best healing for the physical weakness I feel seem to be long walks. Today I’ve been “An den Teichen”. Also I took the chance to take some selfies, as I still don’t know how to trim the beard and guess after I gave it a try it’ll look different ;).

Looking for snowdrops, Feb 15, 2015

Although in the end I forgot my “real” camera at home finally I could follow the plan I originally had for last weekend, finding snowdrops (nice German word “Schneeglöckchen”) to see how nature is “fighting” winter. I saw some in Westfalenpark, but most have been in Rombergpark. I should have remembered from last year ;).
